Job Description
We are seeking an AR/AP Clerk experience to add to our team. This position is responsible for performing various accounting duties, including financial reporting, accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger, reconciling bank accounts and providing monthly reports. This position will also be responsible for handling customer calls and email inquiries.
Pay: Competitive compensation package $17-20 an hour depending on experience
Essential Job Functions:
· Manage all aspects of accounts payable/receivable.
· Accurately enter data in the accounting system.
· Reconcile inventory detail.
· Analyze revenues and expenses to ensure transactions are recorded appropriately every month.
· Determine charges for services requested, collect deposits or payments, and arrange for billing.
· Resolve customers' service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, and adjusting bills.
· Process sales orders and ensure accurate order entry for web/phone/fax orders.
Preferred Education and Experience:
· 2 years’ accounting clerk experience
· 1 year customer service experience
Qualifications:
· Must have prior AR/AP experience
· Proficiency in Google Drive (Docs, Sheets & Slides), Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
· Able to work independently on project assignments and work in a team environment.
· Ability to take detailed notes, follow directions, stay on task, and complete assignments on time.
· Team supporter – able to jump in and help co-workers with admin projects.
