The PACC Mental Health Services has openings for a full-time or part-time Licensed Psychologists. The provider will complete assessments, treatment planning, and psychotherapy services to a variety of patients. PACC Mental Health Services has an easy to use HIPAA compliant EHR system for accurate and high-quality Medicare compliant documentation. Patient onboarding, scheduling, billing is handled by the Administrative staff and Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical services include long-term individual psychotherapy.
- Caseload consists of complex individuals which may include anxiety, depression, bipolar and trauma. Many patients may also have concurrent medical problems, psychosocial problems, and may have a history of abuse as well.
- Conducts crisis intervention as needed.
Record Keeping and Administration and Other Duties:
- Clinical Initial Assessment includes identifying presenting problems, psychosocial history, mental status exam, and DSM-5 diagnosis.
- Maintaining accurate clinical SOAP notes following Medicare standards and guidelines with the HIPAA compliant EHR system which includes following California, City, and County requirements.
- Meets program productivity standards; Completes productivity forms, clinical documentation and other documentation of services in a timely fashion.
- Attends staff meetings and participates in training sessions
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Abilities, Education, Training and Experience
- Must demonstrate cultural humility and a strengths-based, recovery philosophy.
- Excellent organizational and strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated excellent attendance and reliability
- Possession of a valid license in Psychology issued by the California Board of Psychology.
- Must maintain good standing with the California Board of Psychology.
- Provide Professional liability malpractice insurance.
- Must have some proficiency in a Psychological theory or approach to healing, assessment skills, ability to diagnose, create treatment plans with appropriate therapeutic goals, and provide referrals to clients that will enhance their personal growth.
- Warmth and ability to connect/develop therapeutic relationships with patients, be able to maintain a confidential telehealth session with appropriate technology, and be committed to professional development and ongoing learning
