The Pace Sales team has an immediate opening for a Market Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the sales operating model and sales strategies by providing analysis support, managing customer quotation data and sources, and reporting on quote metrics and assigned market activity.
The position requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a closely related field (e.g., finance, biology, chemistry); AND two (2) years of sales support and market experience preferably in an environmental laboratory; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
The position has an opening in the Eastern Time Zone and will cover multi-state areas. this can be work-from-home positions.

SUMMARY:
Responsible for supporting the Sales Operating model and Sales Strategies by providing analysis support, managing data and sources, and reporting on sales metrics and assigned market activity.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Manages and maintains the market database(s).
2. Ensures business plans, tracking reports, pursuit strategies, analyses, and various other scheduled and ad-hoc reports, dashboards and market analyses are accurate and completed/delivered on time.
3. Develops proposals in support of organic sales growth, as directed.
4. Prepares materials for and participates in market meetings/calls.
5. Provides data about market segments, business activity and success rates.
6. Analyzes weekly operational reports within assigned territory to determine labs capability and capacity and communicates to sales teams during forecasting meetings.
7. Creates, maintains and establishes all pricelists for each market in assigned territory.
8. Manages and maintains correct pricing in SalesForce for each labs’ product book within the territory/region.
9. Develops reports and suggests improvements within the SalesForce system.
10. Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's service to its customers by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team.
11. Promotes and supports the overall mission of Pace Analytical by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with customers and staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment.

Education and Experience:
