PACE Enterprises is a nonprofit providing jobs and job training for people with disabilities.
The Trust Coordinator, under guidance from the President & CEO, is responsible for the management and administration of the PACE Trust Fund. The position supports the development of new accounts and maintains active and inactive trusts for clients with disabilities.
Qualifications of the Trust Coordinator:
- Bachelors Degree preferred. Directly related experience can be substituted
- Experience providing services to individuals with disabilities
- A strong ability to meet deadlines
- A strong ability to multitask and prioritize
- Strong written and verbal communication skills using Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Outlook, Publisher
- Demonstrated organizational skills used in evaluation and decision making
- Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion
- Ability to adhere to Confidentiality protocols and requirements
- Understanding of trust management related laws and benefit programs such as Medicaid and SSI
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Trust Coordinator:
- Meet directly with prospective clients to identify the needs of the individual and promote the benefits of the PACE Trust Fund as it pertains to that individual and his/her family.
- Oversee administration of the trust and service delivery programs.
- Collaborate with the True Link and PACE staff for accounting.
- Manage client issues, in collaboration with others.
- Along with True Link, provide oversight and maintenance of client trust sub-accounts, including ensuring that all expenditures have appropriate back-up documentation.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, guidelines and standards applicable to the organization and imposed by federal and state law or other regulatory bodies.
- Develop and maintain key relationships associated with PACE Trust Fund including, but not limited to, clients, grantors, partner agencies, and service providers.
- Review and approve client bills and trust disbursement requests, ensuring receipts or other documentation is provided, as appropriate, for submission to outsourced accounting firm.
- Draft personalized care plans for clients’ review and approval.
