Job Summary
This position reports to the Accounting Manager and will assist with maintaining accurate financial data, as well as keeping the Chief Financial Officer and Finance Manager informed of financial conditions and trends.

This position reports to the Accounting Manager and will assist with maintaining accurate financial data, as well as keeping the Chief Financial Officer and Finance Manager informed of financial conditions and trends.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly financial results comparing budget to actual
- Monitor Medicare/Medicaid billing for discrepancies; follow up on resolving issues; addressing any issues with participant enrollments as related to payment
- Participate in the annual budgeting process
- Prepare annual departmental budgets
- Review all detailed transactions, as required, to ensure the accuracy of month end and annual financial statement reporting
- Other financial reports as necessary such as tax filing, State reports, etc
- Assist Accounting & Claims Specialist with any claims questions and/or issues
- Fulfill NPA Financial Benchmarking survey requests, city tax forms and reporting, and other benchmarking studies.
- Monthly and Quarterly reporting to Washington Trust as primary lender and financial institution
- Primary contact for all Representative Payee applications, transactions, and reconciliations with Washington Trust and Citizens Bank
- Liaison to SSA as necessary related to Representative Payee and DHS related questions
- Maintain an appropriate knowledge of the regulations and practices that govern the PACE program
- Responsible for the preparation of monthly financial statements and reconciliation and reporting
- Provide banking oversight and management to the other team members.
- Works with the data and quality staff to complete analysis projects; resulting in integrated reports that have agency wide benefit
- Complete ad-hoc and recurring analysis requests to support companywide analytic requests. This would include utilization analysis, financial analysis, and risk adjustment analysis support.
- Initiate and lead data intensive projects; translate quantitative findings into practical insights through the interpretation of data, trends and other sources.
- Prepares and is the department lead on all planning and fieldwork items requested including but not limited to planning schedules, confirmations, fieldwork templates and spreadsheets, financial statement footnotes and other disclosures as required by GAAP
- Responsible for the preparation of monthly and annual reconciliations and schedules for the annual audits and Form 990 prep
- Draft temporary contracts when Contract Manager is unavailable
- Other duties as requested by the Chief Financial Officer or Finance Manager
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
