Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain responsibility for providing consultative subject matter compensation expertise, guidance and analysis to assigned hospitals and/or business units
- Help meet business objectives while ensuring internal equity, external competitiveness and compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations
- Works cross-functionally with key stakeholders to understand business issues and collectively develop comprehensive compensation strategies
- Manage and coordinate key elements of various compensation programs, in an effort to design and deliver effective and efficient service
- Lead compensation planning/budgeting, market analysis and competitiveness reviews, incentive plan design and/or administration and equity analysis
- Ensure compensation practices and strategies are followed consistently across all regions, and managers/employees receive the highest quality of service
- Researches new compensation theories, best practices, techniques and tools, and suggests enhancements to existing programs
- Analyzes compensation content and outcomes through appropriate tools and techniques then monitors and reports on the efficiency and effectiveness of the findings to leadership.

Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required or 4 years’ experience in lieu of a degree will be considered
- 3 years’ experience in Compensation or Human Resources
- Certification in related area desirable (i.e. CCP, CBP, PHR)
- Understands the healthcare industry and complexities of administering compensation programs in intricate environments
- Expert knowledge of employment, payroll, compensation, benefit practices and governing regulatory policies
- Knowledge of HRIS and payroll procedures, and skill in the use of computer and related software
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office systems and documentation procedures
- Proven ability to influence process improvements and make effective recommendations
- Can clearly and concisely present information of a complex nature
