Position Summary
The Administrative Assistant position will support Upward Bound program staff in ensuring that the following grant objectives are met; Fiscal File Management, Programmatic File Management, and Student File Management.
Position Duties
- Perform clerical services for the Upward Bound Programs, including maintaining databases, confidential documents, and files and other programs as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of Annual Performance Reports.
- Maintain meticulous records such as contact information for participants and alumni, and submit regular data reports regarding participant status and academic success.
- Assist program staff in updating social media outlets with program activities and events.
- Performs other such duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Position Qualifications
- High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience in a office setting preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to use tools such as MS Office including Excel, and Google Drive.
Work Hours
Part-time. 20 hours per week. Actually schedule will be determined based on program need and applicant availability.
Salary Range $20 hourly rate
