OVERVIEW
The Line Cook accurately and efficiently cook meats, fish, vegetables, soups and other hot food products as well as prepares and portions food products and garnishes prior to cooking. He or she also performs other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of food products. Responsible for maintaining sanitary conditions on his or her station(s) and breakdown and clean-up of the station(s) at the end of the shift. Join us at our Cupertino location!!!!

SCHEDULE
This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Hours may be different every week and schedules are not set nor guaranteed but will likely include nights and weekends. Currently seeking (1) Line Cook for the AM Shift and (1) Line cook for the PM Shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE LINE COOK
- Follow all company safety guidelines to the highest level. Face masks and gloves to be always worn while working at any Pacific Catch, Inc. restaurant(s).
- Wash hands before and throughout shift, and always between prepping items.
- Inform Supervisors of any immediate symptoms if you are feeling ill.
- Ensure that all food meets safety, quality, and presentation standards.
- Cook all products in a timely manner and to proper temperature.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation (tables, walls, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, burners, ovens, ranges, and refrigeration equipment), cleaning as you go.
- Exercise care with all utensils, china, and equipment to ensure minimum breakage.
- Set up and break down station daily. Ensure proper prep levels are maintained for next shift.
- Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed.
- Maintain excellent personal grooming and hygiene
- Read all notices for BOH team members and attend all team member meetings.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILL SET
- Minimum of 1 year’s line cook experience in a high volume, full-service restaurant
- Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 5 hours in length
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds in weight.
