The Head Start/Early Head Start/EHS CCP Data Analyst provides technological expertise to support data collection, monitoring and reporting systems to meet Head Start Performance Standards for child and family outcomes tracking. Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Data Analyst establishes data quality standards and works across departments to ensure standards are met in accordance to the program’s data management plan. Perform data collection and analyzes information related to program(s), agency wide and external sources designed to improve processes and creates efficiencies.
Responsible for set up and maintenance of database system and is lead trainer for all users.
Leads efforts to track a variety of program related data in program tracking and reporting systems, including, but not limited to: COPA, State Preschool and the Head Start Enterprise System.
Maintains integrity of all program software information system by troubleshooting, problem solving and applying current updates.
Establishes data quality standards and works across departments to ensure standards are met in accordance to program’s data management plan.
Conducts data analysis of program trends internally and externally and produces program reports, including community assessment.
Ensures all data collected and entered is complete, accurate, in real-time, and secured.
Ensures accuracy and integrity of data while minimizing errors in the system.
Develops, coordinates and produces weekly, monthly, and annual reports as needed by the program for management, state and federal reporting requirements.
Creates and pulls program reports from all database and computerized tracking systems as assigned and as needed for different audiences.
Assists Program Operations Manager in providing technical support and training to other database users.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE/POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Advanced computer knowledge and hands-on experience ih a Windows environment, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Access, and Excel, Oracle, SQL Database/queries and SQL Server Management Studio.
Critical thinker with deductive reasoning skills, experienced at data collection and analysis, problem solving, multi-tasking, completing repetitive tasks with accuracy, and improvising with a creative approach to problems and obstacles.
