Job Description:

We're actively seeking a talented Case Manager to join our New Business Team in Newport Beach, CA; Omaha NE or Lynchburg, VA. This role can be on-site or hybrid.
As a Case Manager, you'll play a key role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success by Work with Customers to place their business and contribute to our Sales Goals. You will fill an existing role that sits on a team of 6 people in the Consumer Markets Division. Your colleagues will include other Case Managers, Underwriters and Wholesalers.
How you will make an impact:
Manage all aspects of the new business process, identifying cases that need special handling. Manage workload with emphasis on time management and quality standards.
Proactively follow up and provide communication to support to customers which may include Financial Professional, Agents, Producers, internal wholesalers , and their respective staff.
Ensure smooth and timely end to End Process , meeting expected service levels.
Understanding, knowledge and expertise in new business process, terminology, and technology to support and enhance daily New Business operations.
Accountable for managing the New Business Process \Explore opportunities to add value to customer experience.
Ensure delivery requirements and payments for issued contracts are received in a timely manner.
Build relationships and rapport with Financial Professional, Agents, Brokers, Internal wholesalers, and their respective staff by being their advocate, anticipating their needs and being their consistent point of contact during the New Business processes.
Serve as a point of contact to Underwriting, Financial Professional, General Agency and their respective staff. Proactively resolve any issues and inquiries.
When encountering new or complex situations, promptly escalate to Mentor or Leader for resolution assistance and provide input to possible solution.
Provide continuous scheduled telephone coverage.
Proactively seeks out personal development opportunities and feedback on performance to identify growth areas.
Able to support multiple channels and lines of business as required.
The experience you will bring:
Minimum 3 years of New Business Case Management experience with knowledge of the life insurance process preferred.
Working knowledge of desktop applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel. Knowledge of Salesforce a plus.
Critical thinking skills with the ability to identify and troubleshoot problems, and comfort with cases involving a high degree of complexity.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; clear and effective.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills to interact with internal and external clients.
Discretion while handling confidential matters (e.g., medical records).
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment while focusing on critical deliverables.
Proven customer service and Case management experience, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of management.
Proven ability to be a team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Adaptable and able to deal with ongoing change management.

Base Pay Range:
The base pay range noted provides a basis to determine the appropriate offer dependent upon several factors including but not limited to geographic location, experience, skills, education and pay equity. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
