Summary:
Help manage and achieve teamwork, quality, productivity and excellence in all warehouse and production activities. Assists in the management of operations of all functions of the warehouse. Receives stock into inventory using approved company inventory control & QA methods. Responsible for efficiently receiving, shipping, accounting for products coming into and going out of the plant, order picking, and invoicing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be a role model in projecting and applying The Pacific Group Diamond Philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Excellence and teamwork) and promote teamwork at all times.
- Learn aspects of all aspects of the warehouse position; order picking, order clearing, truck loading, receiving, and stocking.
- Receive and verify deliveries of orders and amounts of products received.
- Picks orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in the management of the productivity and accuracy of all order selection in cooler and freezer.
- Maintain Truck Loading standards.
- Maintain and promote plant and crew safety at all times.
- Ensure the warehouse configuration is maintained and products are properly slotted and rotated.
- Ensure order pull quality, efficiency, and productivity.
- Assist in all physical inventories and cycle counts.
- Shelve stock into its properly slotted area.
- Verify quality of merchandise received.
- Maintain a clean organized warehouse, dock and shipping office.
- Monitor productivity rates for all areas using man power plan.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:
Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum two years’ related experience and/or training
Preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Forklift Certification
