Pacific States Petroleum, Inc. is an on-site fueling company servicing California and Reno, focusing on delivering products like diesel, unleaded, and propane. Pacific States Petroleum Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Janitor to join our team. This position will be responsible for ensuring the regular cleanliness and upkeep of our facilities. We are a thriving business with a family-type atmosphere and are looking to add a positive/self-motivated associate to our team.

Job Summary

As our Full Time Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment at our facilities which includes regular office spaces, restrooms, kitchens, locker rooms, bathrooms, and warehouses. You will report to the Yard Manager and perform other facility upkeep duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the facility, including surface cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring a stocked supply of paper products.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated area.
• Clean and maintain the kitchen area, including cleaning countertops, sinks, and appliances.
• Dust and wipe down furniture and fixtures.
• Maintain and organize storage areas while keeping inventory.
• Perform occasional deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including the proper handling and storage of cleaning supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid California Driver’s License
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in janitorial or custodial work, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and best practices.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. PSPI is looking for a responsible and motivated individual.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to travel to other regional facilities when necessary.
