Solutions Delivery Architect

We’re actively seeking a talented Solutions Delivery Architect to join our new Pacific Life Technology Enablement team. This role is based in Newport Beach, CA with a hybrid work mode. As a Solutions Delivery Architect, you will play a key role in Pacific Life’s technology direction and delivery of complex solutions for the CMD Annuity and Life business. You will join a dedicated and self-organizing agile team in developing our next generation applications, data transformation, and automation tools in the cloud. Technical capabilities aside, if you are a mission-driven self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative culture, this role will motivate you for years to come. Successful candidates will have deep architecture, engineering, and application development experience to drive superior solutions that will result in positive business outcomes. What You’ll Do: Drive complex software projects, spanning across multiple engineering groups across Pacific Life. Analyzes complex business problems, evaluate technology solutions, and build working prototypes to share. Partners with the business and other technical experts across the enterprise to evaluate technology solutions and build working cutting edge prototypes to share. Function as a SME for modern cloud and software development tools, including the discovery and incubation of new capabilities. Executing a project from requirements to working software to share with the business and technology teams. Mine large and complex datasets for insights and conversion to new product features. Communicate complex concepts and results in a clear and effective manner. Participate in peer reviews and technology collaboration with other Architects across the enterprise. Factors for Success BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience 12 years of experience in software development, data, and architecture. 5 years of cloud and automation expertise. Hands-on experience developing software, data integration, process automation and API services in the cloud. Strong foundation with modern SDLC in various technologies (AWS Services, Database, NOSQL, Python, C# on Windows/Linux OS) Good working knowledge for a variety of automation, integration and business process management solutions. Experience being part of a fast paced agile software development team; Desire and ability to train, mentor, and develop engineering talent. Base Pay Range: The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location.
