JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Position: Office Assistant
  • Compensation: $20/hr
  • Schedule: Part-time/ Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9am-2:30pm with option for shorter hours on Fridays and over summer break
  • This is NOT seasonal employment
  • Work Setting: All work is performed on site.
  • Location: Dallas, TX

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure office supplies and resources are available, neat, and ready for daily use.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and show pleasure in working with children.
  • Show respect to and relate positively towards children and adults.
  • Maintain and organize the office space neatly.
  • Be available to be a Floater in classrooms, as needed.
  • Collaborate on the development of marketing materials and strategies to promote the practice.
  • Assist in the creation and scheduling of social media posts is a plus.
  • Able to perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, and use of stairs and be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Exceptional self-presentation, outgoing and happy with a polished and professional manner including dress.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree is a plus.
  • 2 years of minimum experience in an administrative type of role.
  • Experience working with kids.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, Teams).
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Sound written and oral communication skills with the ability to engage in a professional, hospitable, and courteous manner.
  • Self-starter and the ability to perform tasks independently and assume ownership in the role.
  • Strong work ethic with team attitude.

HOURS

  • Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays
  • 9 am – 2:30pm with option for shorter hours on Friday and over summer vacation

COMPENSATION

  • $20/hr

LOCATION

  • Dallas, TX

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
