We’re looking for a capable and hands-onHead of Public Relations or Public Relations Managerto help build and evolve Pactum's brand awareness. You will be working with our leadership team to devise and execute a diverse range of communications activities including community and network building, digital and social media, and global media relationships.
We are looking for someone who will:
Drive the Pactum narrative by delivering proactive, tier-1 media relations initiatives
Promote Pactum announcements and build the Pactum brand in core geographies (U.S. and EU) through print and web publications (including press-release writing, blog post writing, journalist relations, etc.)
Lead all aspects of high level social media programming, looking for opportunities to increase our visibility in the market with potential customers, investors, influencers, and media
Occasional copywriting
Own the Pactum website, branding guidelines, and template maintenance and updates
Online and offline community and network building in Pactum’s core geographies (U.S. and EU) and office locations
Conduct research and analysis as needed to support marketing, communications, and portfolio company activity

Are a storyteller by nature and proactive in your approach – finding ways how to create content rather than waiting something to happen is the way you work
Have a strong network of tier-1 media connections and a proven track record with national and international business and technology media across print, broadcast and online
Have secured top media placements with at least one of the following publications: The Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, Bloomberg, The Economist, Wired, Washington Post, USA Today Tech, and The New York Times
Have a passion for the future of technology and understand Pactum’s product very well
Have superior writing and presentation skills
Have great organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines at the same time
Have scaled another technology company before and/or have worked for another startup, in a startup-like culture or have evidence that you can adapt to sudden changes within both the company and broader industry
Can develop and execute creative plans and tactics to communicate Pactum’s value to our key audiences (in particular, clients in Europe and the US, and investors globally)
Are self-sufficient - you don’t wait for someone to tell you what to do - you are comfortable with figuring out what are the problems worth solving and how to solve them; Presenting solutions, not problems is the way you think and work
Like to stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and internal business developments, and apply knowledge accordingly in the fulfillment of your job; You are flexible in times of change and adapt accordingly
