Engineering Internship Position Summary:
The Engineering Intern will assist and support our Engineering manager with administrative tasks, operations, field work and technical aspects of daily engineering functions and run small engineering projects.
- Contributes to our Turner Shredder debulking project
- Assists with our Howell Non-Ferrous cleaning system project
- Performs hands-on field work under the direction of engineers to support various projects
Engineering Internship Qualifications:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, junior level preferred
- Mathematical and mechanical aptitude
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD & SolidWorks programs
- Self-motivated; ability to work independently or in a team setting
- Problem solving skills with attention to accuracy and detail
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated safety consciousness
