Administrative Support Specialist


This is a contingent position.

PAE is currently seeking Administrative Support Specialists based in Charlottesville, VA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide general office support including planning, organizing, and supporting conferences and training events
  • Assist in record keeping and management of office files
  • Assist with logistics services and property book management
  • Assist in office management during special events
  • Identify office supply requirements to the government
  • Purchase card holder
  • Process, create, and manage purchase requests, purchase orders, and invoices
  • Create travel orders and manage travel staffing
  • Perform administrative processes such as initiating visit requests

Required Qualifications:

  • 6 years' specialized administrative support experience with DoD customers
  • Proficient using most recent version of MS Office Suite of applications (e.g., MS

Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project)

  • Ability to use specialized business software systems
  • Familiarity with time-keeping duties and travel order processing procedures
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship

Desired Qualifications:

  • An active DoD security clearance
  • 10 years' specialized administrative support experience with DoD customers
