Efficiently fuel assigned equipment and aircraft. Perform work required in a timely manner and maintain adequate production to meet service schedules. Essential Responsibilities: Receives, stores, and issues ground and aircraft fuel of various types. Receives, stores, and issues cryogenics products. Inspects/refuels vehicles and ensures all equipment, tire pressures, and fluids levels are at appropriate levels. Maintains and operates the Fuels Laboratory to assure quality fuels, cryogenics, and lubricants. Preforms quality control checks on all Fuel storage facilities and input repair requests as needed. Operates/refuels vehicles and assure proper grounding before dispensing any grade of fuel. Assures all operations are conducted in a safe manner and stops work if hazardous conditions are observed. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested. Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: High school diploma or GED and possess a minimum of 2 years’ related experience. Possess a current, valid Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds to a height of 66 inches and climb steps and ladders. Must possess basic mathematical skills. Qualify for and maintain a US Government security clearance and possess a valid state issued driver’s license. Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands: Primary functions require the physical ability and mobility to repeatedly work overhead, kneel, crawl, push, pull and climb equipment as required by task. Ability to frequently lift 50 to 75 pounds. Exposed to various weather conditions (hot, rain, snow) and ability to stand for long periods of time. Regularly exposed to hazards such as noise, fumes, moving equipment, liquids and lubricants. Requires constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, and must be able to work under deadlines.
