What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Assistant position at PAE?

PAE is seeking for a highly motivated Project Assistant with an Engineering focus , to support the Project Manager and construction team with deliverables. The selected candidate should be available as needed, up to 20 hours per week.
General Duties:
- Refine engineering / construction documents to ensure they are comprehendible by USAID and our construction team.
- Finalizing program deliverables to include editing, proofreading, and formatting.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field
- 1-5 years’ related experience
- Basic understanding of Engineering and Construction process documents
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing. Strong writing, proofreading, and formatting skills are a must
- Ability to simplify complex engineering/construction process documents
- Computer proficiency, versed in Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point.
- Ability to build effective working relationships
- Deadline oriented
- Ability to work independently, and as part of a team, to build relationships with partners and clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Engineer in Training (EIT)
- Some knowledge of international development or construction
