Dental Treatment Coordinator

Compensation based on experience. We offer excellent benefits. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and perform front desk duties including patient check-in and check-out, scheduling patient appointments, and handling patient inquiries
- Oversee the calculation, collection and posting of patient co-payments on day of visit
- Prepare and present treatment plans with financial options to assist patients with proceeding with treatment.
- Utilize appropriate methods of patient financing
- Review and manage AR including creation, batching and submission of insurance claims
Skills and Experience:
- 3 years of experience working as a Treatment Plan Coordinator
- Strong sales and customer service mindset and ability
- Must be able to put together and sequence complex treatment plans
- Knowledge of insurance codes and billing practices
- Ability to understand importance of and thus present and close on complex treatment plans
- Proficient with practice management computer software (charting, treatment planning etc). Dentrix or Open Dental experience preferred.
- Possess empathy towards patients
- Utilize every patient contact as an opportunity to advance patient care
- Must believe in the importance of dental health for overall physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of patient
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate a team
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, while maintaining ability to multi-task
- Executive presence, friendly yet assertive.
- Clinical experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
