What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Receptionist position at Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah?
Works as a member of the FourPoints Health clinic team and is responsible with all phases of receptionist work including scheduling patients, welcoming patients into the FourPoints Health clinic, obtaining and maintain patient records, collecting fees, issuing prior authorization numbers, helping patients with Medicaid application, and assisting the clinic team as needed. Provides reception support for medical, behavioral health, and/or dental clinics.
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday
7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
30 Minute Lunch
Requirements
General Requirements:
- Must be insurable through the Tribe’s vehicle insurance required.
- Must pass a criminal and fingerprint background check according to P.L. 101-630 standards required.
- Must pass a pre-employment alcohol/drug screening required.
- Must successfully pass the Dental Assistant Credentialing process required.
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma, equivalent GED or higher required.
- One (1) year experience in a dental office required.
License & Certification:
- Must possess, maintain, and provide proof of a valid Driver’s License required.
- Must obtain, maintain, and provide proof of a valid First Aid and CPR certification within three (3) months of hire date required.
- Must obtain, maintain, and provide proof of a valid X-ray certification within six (6) months of hire date required.
