The Regional RN is responsible for meeting with clients in their homes to review the DHS person-centered service plan (plan of care) and perform an initial assessment with the clients, develop the aide service plan; and revise client service plans following their annual functional (re)assessment or change in condition. The Regional RN works closely with other Palco Staff to provide exceptional client service.
Essential Job Duties:
- Meet with clients in their homes to discuss person-centered service plan (plan of care).
- Perform initial assessment with clients and ongoing annual assessments.
- Works closely with Agency Care Supervisor on plan of care for clients.
- Revises and monitors individualized client service plan following the client’s annual functional (re)assessment, change in condition, or post hospitalization.
- Frequent travel within a designated region of Arkansas.
- Review Personal Care Aides records/service documentation for accuracy.
- Conduct supervisory in-home visits with clients and PCAs annually and as needed.
- Must be able to drive personal vehicle to client homes for on-site evaluation.
- Advise staff on emergency protocols.
- Investigate incident reports.
- Be available for after-hours consultations, as needed.
- Meet all requirements of the company’s remote work policy including maintaining a high-speed internet minimum of 50Mbps.
- Promoting brand recognition through outreach efforts in the community.
- Assist the Agency Care Supervisor in maintaining and promoting a profitable caseload of clients.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written communication.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Good listening skills.
- Good understanding of client service plans or plans of care.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and discretion.
- Ability to follow HIPAA guidelines.
- Ability to work with diverse groups of individuals.
- Ability to supervise and lead others.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Work with a sense of urgency.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, Adult Maltreatment and Child Maltreatment background check and MVR.
- Knowledge of nursing scope of practice laws and nurse delegation laws, continuing to update knowledge-based skill set is required.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have a valid, unexpired driver’s license.

Education and Experience:
- Minimum of an RN unrestricted license required.
- Must be Registered RN in the State of Arkansas.
- A minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience, at least one (1) year of which must be in the provision of in-home care preferred.
