Primary responsibility is for the branch leadership, operations performance, labor efficiency and timeliness of delivery. We are located at 5178 Old Dixie HWY, Forest Park, GA 30297. The main goal will be in expanding our market share for Palfinger service with a focus on customers.
Responsibilites
- Detailed knowledge of Palfinger related products and other key suppliers.
- Train and assist service technicians on knowledge with all products PUSA services.
- Manage and schedule in-house and field service technicians for the location.
- Approve and manage expenses and cost for daily branch operation.
- Reviews the location plan for current and future workloads including labor and customer needs.
- Works with other locations as needed to ensure customer needs are met.
- Goal is to have zero defects on service.
- Detailed knowledge of area customer base and competition.
- Tracking and approval of service activities through the company provided CRM system.
- Maintain a current WIP and process accordingly.
- Produce quotes that translate customer expectations with accurate costs.
- Active and courteous communication with internal support.
- Customer focused approach to both external customers and “internal” customers.
- Employee will act with little supervision and must have an entrepreneurial drive in their daily activities.
- Employee will report directly to PUSA’s Service Manager.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- 5 years’ experience in broad/general shop/service management or 10 years’ experience within the truck equipment /crane equipment industry.
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Windows applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and company CRM.
- Proven ability to work independently, to take initiative and be resourceful.
- Strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills.
- Technical knowledge on the products Palfinger produces.
- Good people skills and ability to look at situations from a business standpoint.
