Position Overview
As a CNC Machine Operator at our Cortland, NY facility CNC Machining skills are a must as well as the ability to set up and operate CNC lathes and mills in a continuous production/processing operation.
Job Responsibilities
Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure consistency to production/process specifications.
Follows engineering drawings, work order information, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process.
Installs, modifies, moves, troubleshoots and repairs machinery and equipment according to requisition established documentation (e.g., SOPs), layout plans, blueprints or other drawings.
Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
Requirements

• Must be willing to work any shift*

HS Diploma or GED
A minimum of 4 years’ experience setting up and running Mazak, and Mori lathes, mills, and Swiss style screw machine.
Candidates must be proficient in both the Mazatrol and EIA languages.
Individuals will work from setup sheets, blueprints and programs to setup and operate CNC machine(s)
