The Hydraulic Technician I position for Pall Aeropower Corporation is responsible for performing all tasks associated with the hydraulics area to blueprint and work instruction specifications.
This position is part of the Liquids department and is located in New Port Richey, FL. Our mission is to solve our customers' biggest filtration, separation, and purification challenges. And, in doing so, advance health, safety and environmentally responsible technologies.
Second Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (Overtime is routine)
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Perform assembly and testing on valves and assemblies by interpreting blueprints and job sheets, maintaining high productivity while producing quality parts.
Follow written technical instructions and drawings. Set-up test stand and test valves and assemblies to meet specifications on job sheets. Proof test by placing valves in block and re-testing. Troubleshoot problems during assembly and test.
Work with solvents, oils, and other chemicals. Responsible for the upkeep and inventory of company hand tools and tooling. Complete all necessary paperwork as required including scorecards, hazard recognitions, routers and data, Follower Tags, ATP, Slitter Sheets, etc.
The essential requirements of the job include:
High School diploma or equivalent (i.e., GED) plus two (2) years of experience in a position demonstrating mechanical aptitude.
Working knowledge and prior experience using hand tools and gages (torque wrenches, calipers). Familiarity with hydraulic / pneumatic principles and related hardware (flow testing, cracking and resetting of valves) is an asset. Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, job sheets, and written work instructions.
Physical requirements include ability to stand for long time periods (8 hours or more), frequently twist and bend, lifting weight: 35 lbs., daily lifting frequency, ability to work with solvents, oils, and other chemicals.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Lean manufacturing principles.

This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Salary : $39,600 - $50,200
