The Team Leader (Deburr) position for Pall Aeropower Corporation is responsible for collaborating with Cell Leaders and Value Stream leader to ensure our goals for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Productivity are met or exceeded while producing product to specification requirements.
This First Shift position is part of the Machine Shop and will be located in New Port Richey, FL. Our mission is to solve our customers' biggest filtration, separation, and purification challenges. And, in doing so, advance health, safety and environmentally responsible technologies.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Mentor, coach and train co-workers in the various machine shop processes and procedures.
Set-up the work area for success, perform Kamishibai, and delegate tasks to associates daily.
Read and understand all types of drawings required to deburr parts such as castings, forgings, and detailed engineering sketches.
Perform in-process inspection using precision measuring tools and blueprints.
Effectively perform secondary operations (i.e. operation and setup on simple machines or processes including drill press, stamping press, deburring, etc.).
Maintain all paperwork and company records associated with producing the part.
The essential requirements of the job include:
High School diploma or local equivalent (i.e., GED).
Minimum of three (3) years performing deburr/finishing tasks
Solid understanding of shop math (i.e. algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and GD&T).
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Interpreting tool and part drawings including but not limited to geometrical tolerancing and manually calculated dimensions.
Working with a microscope for an extended period of time.
Other requirements:
This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.
