Pallet Consultants is a fast-growing pallet manufacturer looking for pallet dismantlers. We make wooden pallets – which are used every day to transport almost every type of product, tool or machine you can imagine! Pallets are what make our economy and supply chains work.
We need a flexible, friendly and hardworking individual to help deconstruct used wooden pallets using hand tools and machines.
Position Description: Be a crucial part of our manufacturing process at a pallet production and repair facility that produces millions of pallets annually. In this role, you’ll be dismantling pallets and gathering their materials for use to repair and build other pallets. Use hand tools, set up, repair and operate machinery; provide pallet components that meet our standards, identify and grade pallet parts, push and pull pallets for extended periods and occasionally complete other related duties as needed.

Ideal candidates will be able to take the lead themselves in some tasks after learning their role in our operation while maintaining our high quality control, efficiency and punctuality standards. Favored candidates have a good work ethic, can work well with their teams, have a positive attitude and takes safety seriously.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Dismantling and deconstructing pallets for parts
· Sort materials
· Follow instructions and standards
· Visually check pallets and their parts for
· Use hammers, saws and other tools
· Keeping your work area clean
· Fulfill your duties and operate equipment safely
Position Requirements:
· Be safety-oriented
· Have good eyesight and hearing
· Good written, oral verbal communication skills
· Fluent in English
· Detail-oriented with problem solving skills
· Be able to lift 65 pounds
· Be able to stand for extended periods of time
· Pass a drug screen
Position Preferences:
· Ability to work the occasional late workday or weekend day
· Spanish speaking or other second language is a plus
Job Type and Schedule: Full-time position, 3PM - 11PM Monday – Friday. Work on holidays and weekends may be necessary depending on the situation.
Hourly Rate: $18.00 - 22.00/hour
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
