What are the responsibilities and job description for the ER Registered Nurse position at Palm Bridge Solutions?
THE ER IN ARLINGTON:
Arlington's One & Only Designated Trauma Center
Who We Are:
When the people of Arlington think “top-tier emergency care,” they think of us. Why? Perhaps because we’re the ONLY Level III Trauma Center in town. Or maybe it's the way our exceptional team of board-certified Docs, whip-smart Nurses, heroic Medics, and specialist marvels manages more than 80,000 patients annually. Oh, and did we mention our expansive 53 bed ER? It’s like a bustling mini-city, but with fewer traffic jams and more life-saving.
What We Offer:
- Extensive educational and certification opportunities, because knowledge is power (and power saves lives).
- Deeply supportive Nurse Management. They’re like your favorite cheerleaders, but with clipboards.
- Excellent Physician relationships. Think "bromance," but in scrubs.
- An onsite Department Educator (basically the Yoda of our ER) and Medic support.
- Accolades? Sure, we have a few! We’re an accredited Chest Pain Center and Primary Stroke Center.
Let’s Talk Specs:
- Licensure/Certifications: You'll need a current license as a Registered Nurse from the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners. Got a compact license? That works too! Current ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association are non-negotiables. As for TNCC and ENPC (or AHA's PALS)? We'll want those within 18 months of you joining us.
- Education: BSN? Major kudos to you. It’s highly preferred.
- Experience: Let's keep it real. You need at least 2 years of recent acute ER adventures to hop on board.
- The Dollars: Salary starts at $33 (1-year experience), revs up to $42.92 (10 years), and peaks at a cool $54 (20 years).
Working weekends? Enjoy an extra $4.30 on top. Think of it as our way of saying, “We appreciate you sacrificing your brunch plans.”
- The Cherry on Top? Sign On: We handle these on a case-by-case basis. So while we can't promise a golden handshake, we can promise a warm one!
Relocation: Ditto. We decide these individually. But hey, it's worth discussing!
Bottom Line:
Looking for a challenge? Got a penchant for saving lives and perhaps a quirky sense of humor? If so, we'd love to chat. Come and be a part of Arlington's ER elite!
