Work is usually performed in a retail indoor setting. The employee may occasionally be exposed to outside weather conditions (extreme cold or heat). The employee may frequently be exposed to dust and odors. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Acknowledges customers as they enter and exit the store; assists customers as needed with merchandise.
- Receives donations promptly from donor and provides excellent customer service.
- Documents number of donations received accurately on the donation count sheet.
- Sorts donated merchandise into designated bins; sorts and grades raw clothing and linens with established quality standards.
- Tags acceptable sorted clothing and lines using a tagging gun with care not to damage the item; operates tagging gun according to Safety procedures and requirements.
- Hangs tagged clothing and linens on the appropriate hanger while arranging those items in a predetermined order on a rack as per established standards.
- Performs primary sort of donations.
- Prices hard-good items effectively; fills shopping carts.
- Documents work progress properly on production log(s).
- Rotates product as directed by the respective rotation charts.
- Cleans sellable wares products and groups with similar merchandise.
- Cleans and stocks restrooms as necessary.
- Straightens and picks up sales floor and dressing rooms as necessary.
- Provides daily facility maintenance by sweeping, vacuuming, high and low dusting and cleaning shelves/windows.
- Reports known or suspected security and/or theft problems to a member of store management, appropriate District Manager, and/or Loss Prevention Department.
- Complies with all agency policies, procedures, and safety standards throughout all work areas; maintains same to meet CARF, Department of Labor, and other regulatory standards.
- Maintains safety standards in the store; reports any exceptions to store management.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned by a member of store management.

Must be able to:

- Comprehend Retail Production and Training manuals as needed; follow process instructions as directed.
