What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Maintenance Worker position at Palmetto Propane?
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional.
Being dependable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Daily Light Cleaning and Facility Maintenance of multiple buildings, employee breakrooms, offices, restrooms, truck yard, fuel stations, and warehouse
- Maintain the grounds to include equipment organization, lawncare and overall appearance
- Performing Basic Maintenance, Building Repairs, and other facility work when needed
- Warehouse Receiving, Assisting with Inventory Control, Parts Order Pulling and Staging, and other warehouse related tasks
- Grill Assembly when needed for customers
- Propane Cylinder Fills and requalification
- Other duties/tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Ability to manage your time efficiently.
- Work well when supervisors are not present.
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
- Ability to drive forklift
- Perform basic maintenance, building repairs, cleaning and other janitorial work.
- Basic math skills.
- High school diploma.
- Able to use basic cleaning equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
