DUTY STATEMENT:
This is a part-time position and serves as the primary accountant for a business with six (6) locations and 100-120 full and part-time employees. Full-time hours may be negotiated in the future. The staff accountant (SA) for PALS, Inc. shall handle Quickbooks entries including bank & payroll reconciliations, processing journal entries, serve as a backup for payroll, liaise with external CPA, and other agencies as needed. Some work can be performed from home. The successful candidate will also hold a valid California Driver’s License. First Aid/ CPR, physical exam, TB test, and drug clearance prior to employment. Part-time 15-20 hours week, generally between the hours of 8 AM – 4 PM, Monday – Friday. Some hours may be fulfilled thru work-at-home. 60% employer contribution to group health insurance and 401k profit sharing with 4% matching contribution. Mileage.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
The preferred candidate has 5 years’ experience in accounting, holds a bachelor's degree in accounting; has excellent communication and organizational skills, and is a team player. Must be familiar with Quickbooks Online.
JOB DUTIES:
- Bank reconciliations
- Payroll & billing reconciliations
- Liaise with CPA and independent financial auditors
- Timely data entry in QB online for accounts payable, e.g., lease, repairs, etc.

Pay: $33,000.00 - $38,000.00 per year
