What You'll Get To Do :
The Sales Support Specialist will track, analyze, and report on sales channel performance for the Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company including promotions review, pricing analysis, customer incentives, and product assortment monitoring.
Additional responsibilities may include, as needed, the promotions implementation and modifications, new item set up at key channel partners, new channel partner set-up support, and chargeback management support.
This role will require interaction with internal stakeholders and potentially external customers. The ideal candidate has experience in Trend Analysis, Merchandise Planning, and multi channel Retail Sales practices, maximizing ROI for success in a constantly evolving retail environment.
Promotions Management
Manage promotional planning across channel partners and product categories, including ownership of the promotions calendar, tracking implementation, evaluating effectiveness ROI, and recommending changes for improvement.
Review the impact of pricing on sell through using sales reporting and additional customer data insights to better plan promotional activity.
Work with Product Managers, Marketing Teams, and Account Managers to plan, execute, and evaluate promotions for maximum effectiveness.
Sales Channel Support
Track, analyze, and report on SKU portfolio by customer and sales channel. Track and maintain the SKU portfolio of the Channel Partner customer analysis of how the placement or pricing of an SKU will influence other Channel Partners.
Forecasting Support
Working with the Business Analytics team, review inventory and sell through to determine recommended changes to sales forecasts associated with promotions.
Support business review meetings with the Account Manager, Forecasting, and Merchandising Teams to identify opportunities and develop gap fill countermeasures as needed.
Identify how the Gap fill countermeasures will influence other Channel Partners.
Other and or Miscellaneous
Other activities to support the sales team include ad hoc reports, new Channel Partner processing, new SKU placement processing, and Chargeback resolution.
What You'll Bring :
Education and Experience :
- BS and or BA degree required
- 3 to 5 years of work experience preferred, with experience in the Sales or Marketing field
- Experience with National Sales Channels a plus Best Buy, Costco, Sam’s Club, Walmart, or Target
Key Competencies :
- Organized, detail oriented, and self motivated with excellent follow up and follow through capabilities.
- Strong analytical approach and problem solving mindset to effectively navigate a constantly evolving retail environment.
- Flexible, adaptable team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
- Self confidence to effectively navigate the internal organization to resolve issues and achieve objectives.
- Ability to multi task with strong time management skills. Able to manage priorities based on project deadlines.
- Self motivating with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Communications :
- Ability to collaborate with remote team members to achieve mutual goals, prioritize tasks, and follow up on execution.
- Effective oral and written communication and presentation skills to persuade decision makers.
Other Requirements :
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SAP, Power BI, and Microsoft Teams preferred
- This hybrid position requires two days per week in the corporate office.
