Summary of Job Descriptions:
The Associate Accountant, Treasury (Credit Card) performs daily credit card reconciliation for up to 500 stores. This position prepares credit card adjustment reports on a weekly basis. The Associate Accountant provides customer service to Operations.
You’ll get a chance to:
- Conduct collection of supporting documentation and responses for charge back activities, and processing of credit card refunds on a timely basis.
- Maintain data base for analytical reporting.
- Perform weekly corporate receipts deposit and records activities periodically to the general ledger.
- Respond on a timely basis to receipt inquiries from various departments.
- Perform daily credit card reconciliation for up to 500 stores, including investigations on variances and follows up on technical issues impacting stores.
- Perform bank reconciliations and conducts proactive follow-up with operations/banks as needed to resolve discrepancies.
- Perform general duties including review of profit & loss financial statements to identify variances during the closing process.
- Provide customer service to Operations and internal department support as needed on a timely basis.
- Act as back-up for Accountant’s credit card reconciliation duties during vacation and/or long-term absences.

Your background & experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with coursework in Accounting/Finance required
- Minimum one year of related experience, preferably in a retail/hospitality environment
- If hired, successful completion of annual store training
- If hired, must provide proof of full vaccination on start date, unless prohibited by federal, state, or local law. Full vaccination means two weeks or more have passed after receiving the second dose in a two-dose series, or more than two weeks after receiving a single-dose vaccine. Examples of proof of full vaccination include an original, photocopied, or digital completed vaccination card that includes name, type of vaccine provided, and date of last dose administered.
