ABOUT THE FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING MANAGER ROLE
We're looking to hire a full-time Finance and Accounting Manager to support the development and launch of our new investment products. The Finance and Accounting Manager, New Products, will work closely with the VP Finance and CFO to launch the new investment products and continue to oversee the operations of these new products thereafter. You will have broad responsibilities ranging from:
- Partner with the VP Finance and CFO to launch the new investment products
- Work closely with the VP Finance to build, implement, and enhance the infrastructure to support these products
- Work closely with the VP Finance and Valuation Committee to support the quarterly valuation process
- Be responsible for the accuracy of the books and records of the new investment products
- Over time, build and oversee a team to support the success of our company as we grow and scale

CHARACTERISTICS OF QUALIFIED CANDIDATES
As the Finance and Accounting Manager, New Products, you will be responsible for the accuracy of the financial reporting for the new investment products to be launched, including the infrastructure that supports this responsibility. You will gain firsthand exposure to venture capital, alternative investing, and data. This role requires a close partnership with numerous functions within the organization, including investment, technology, marketing, value engineering, and fundraising functions.
In this role, you will be expected to:
- Work closely with the VP Finance to launch the new products, including engaging with external counsel and the external accounting firm to support the launch
- Work closely with the VP Finance to build and implement new infrastructure required to support the new products, including the technology platform, SEC reporting function, and internal controls function
- Work closely with the VP Finance to develop a deep understanding of our portfolio company investments and assist in the quarterly valuation process, using external vendors to support the process
- Lead enhancement initiatives related to internal controls to achieve SOX compliance
- Ensure the books and records accurately and completely reflect the results of the new products
- Develop the annual internal audit plan and oversee the compliance function's testing
- Liaise with the external auditor for quarterly reviews and annual audits
- Take lead on various finance products and initiatives that will arise as Panoramic continues to grow and scale the business
- Over time, develop and manage a team to support new products as we grow and scale
Education and Experience
- BS or BA Required in Finance or Accounting
- CPA preferred
- Six years plus of relevant work experience in either public accounting or at an SEC registrant
- Experience with SEC reporting, SOX, and valuation
- Experience in the asset and wealth management industry is preferred but not required
- Experience in reviewing and understanding financial statements and key financial metrics
- Demonstrated ability to drive results

- verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain financial trends intuitively to technical and non-technical audiences
