What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Supervisor position at Papa Cibo Italian Eatery and Pizza?
Duties: These are the overall qualities that we are looking for. You do not have to know them already. We will train the candidate starting at 12.00 per hour. We will discuss more at 90 days.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure efficient and smooth service
- Supervise and train staff members, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain stock levels
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Create and update menus, taking into consideration customer preferences and seasonal availability
- Collaborate with the chef to plan and execute special events, banquets, and catering services
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue management
Requirements:
- Some experience in restaurant management or a similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Familiarity with bartending techniques and beverage service
- Experience in banquet or event planning is a plus
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
