What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Manager, HR Technology position at Paper?
Reporting to the Director of Employee Experience & Digital HR Transformation, the Senior Manager, HR Technology will be responsible for overseeing all HR systems, leading our continuous improvement efforts, and collaborating with teams across the organization to deliver data integrity and guarantee high system adoption.
This position can be located in any geography in the US or Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Workday subject matter expert and provide support in the areas of day-to-day transactions, continuous improvement, HR technical design and system configurations to support various evolving business needs.
- Provide direction and guidance to our HR Technology and system administration teams.
- Gather feedback from the organization, and engage stakeholders to drive improved processes and business performance in support of the E2E HR Process improvement strategies.
- Contribute to the development and execution of our HR service delivery and operating model strategy.
- Oversee the procurement, renewal, implementation, testing and deployment of all HR systems and tools.
- Lead system process design, continuous improvement, and automation efforts by partnering with key stakeholders in People, Legal, IT and Finance to ensure sustainability and compliance.
- Build performance metrics and reporting into our People processes, ensuring KPIs are measurable and effective.
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented process improvement recommendations through quantitative and qualitative KPIs.
- Implement and execute change management strategies to ensure the adoption of our HR systems across the organization.
- Establish strong standards for ongoing training and documentation for all processes and activities.
- Adapt and implement project management methodologies and tools to design and deliver key people processes, coordinate various work streams and ensure projects are rolled out to the business in a timely and, well-coordinated manner.
- Establish project governance, outcomes, measures, and scope and recommend resourcing.
- Organize task distribution and timelines through comprehensive project roadmaps, and ensure timely deliverables, risk assessment and anticipation of obstacles.
- Establish strong security protocols to ensure data integrity in collaboration with IT.
- Develop detailed risk mitigation, data security, and governance plans.
- Manage escalated system issues and resolution processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business administration or equivalent.
- 5 years of experience in HR Technology, HR Operations HR operational excellence, HR Digital Transformation Consulting or similar.
- 3 years of experience managing a team and leading cross-functional projects.
- Significant knowledge of Workday programs.
- Experience with implementation and support of Workday modules.
- Experience establishing strong security protocols and system governance.
- Proven track record in project management, process optimization, and change management.
- Ability to assess and prioritize conflicting business priorities, quickly resolve issues and address root causes while multi-tasking in a fast-growing environment.
