What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Intern position at Paradigm?
Paradigm is a software company transforming the way that the residential, construction & building product industries operate across the globe. We are looking for an IT Support Intern to be part of revolutionizing these industries on May 20th for a 12-week internship.
Our internal Information Technology Team supports a suite of applications that enable our employees to provide our customers with best in class products and services. You will participate in technical support, implementations and upgrades, software support and set up and tear down of workstations.
What You Will Do:
- You will have the opportunity to work with all different areas of the organization diagnosing & resolving technical issues, both in person and via various remote desktop support tools.
- You will support the distribution, set up & inventory of technical equipment.
- This role is a good mixture of team brainstorming/work and individual work product.
- In this role you will be an active participant in the incident management and service request processes.
Position Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in an applied Technology or equivalent technical training is preferred
- You will need critical thinking, including creative development skills, requirements analysis capabilities, and proven problem-solving skills.
- You have previous experience working in a customer service role
- You need to be dependable, organized and enjoy working in a changing/fast paced environment. We are Agile!
