What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Lead - PureBlue position at Paragon Water Systems?
Responsibilities (summary): The Warehouse/Fulfillment Lead will be responsible for proper receiving and unloading of product into the facility in the designated area, managing warehouse inventory, and leading pick, pack, and ship process for customer orders.
Specific Job Function:
Preparing dock for incoming Trucks scheduled for the day- Complete Packing Slip Verification with receipt quantities and file documents appropriately
- Verifies actual counts reported on documentation and provides notifications when errors are identified with incoming material.
- Process orders and ship packages via shipping software (UPS, Federal Express, USPS, etc.)
- Package filters according to customer specifics
- Communicates with customers via online resources to update on shipment status.
- Operate materials-handling equipment to move large volumes of materials.
- Ensures that the transactions for incoming and outgoing product are being completed.
- Tracks and traces materials and inventory by SKU as needed.
- Keep assembly workstations properly stocked with materials and supplies at all times.
- Keep workspace cleaned and organized daily.
- Contribute ideas to improve and optimize operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft office – specifically Excel
- Ability to work overtime, as assigned
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent or prior apprenticeship.
- Basic math and computer skills needed.
- Knowledge of inventory systems and processes
- Knowledge of UPS, FedEx and USPS online systems helpful
- Must be able to lift up to 45lbs., physical exertion is common to many tasks
