Our legal department is seeking an Executive Assistant to support three attorneys on our Knowledge Communications, Company-Wide Projects, and Legal Operations team! This is a hybrid position with the flexibility of working partly in the office and from home!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
All customary assistant duties, including scheduling meetings, fielding incoming calls, handling travel arrangements, processing travel and expenses (through Concur, a solution software system), and arranging office services – e.g., videoconferences
Other projects may include:
Writing/editing work – e.g., proofreading, redlining, revising, or drafting publications and other department communications, contracts, decks, memos, reports, and training guides; adding and editing website content
Event planning-type work – e.g., contributing to or driving the planning and execution of department-wide programs
Work on legal systems – e.g., reviewing, testing, and giving feedback on web-based applications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 8 years' experience as an assistant is preferred
Strong in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Zoom
Exceptional proactivity and follow-through skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills – especially courtesy, tact, and preserving confidentiality
Good judgment in prioritizing (with supervisors’ input as needed)
Detail-oriented and organized
Quick learner and willingness to learn
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
College degree preferred
Proficiency with SharePoint a strong plus
Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Slack is a plus
Experience or interest in editing or systems is a plus
Prior legal assisting (or other legal-related) work is a plus
