Parexel is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team and work alongside the Pharmacists and other technicians in the Glendale, CA Early Phase Clinical Unit (EPCU). In this role you will work in a fast-paced environment to ensure that IP randomization schedules, dose preparations, and other applicable work product is reviewed and approved in a timely manner. This is an intermittent role, once hired, this person will work 4-5 days a week training and shadowing staff. Once training is complete, schedule is as business needs dictate.

Your Activities:
- Managing the preparation, labeling, and dispensing of IP for dosing in a manner that is in strict compliance with the project protocol, randomization schedule, EPCU SOPs, and any other applicable regulations
- Complying with PCU Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Clinical Practices, Good Pharmacy Practices
- Supporting the implementation and application of ClinBase™ in the EPCU
- Participating in project/client meetings to represent pharmacy services as applicable
- Acting as the primary contact person representing the EPCU pharmacy for clients and external CROs
- Ensuring the availability of sufficient test and reference products for study execution
- Ensuring that IP is stored in compliance with the project protocol and EPCU SOP specifications
- Confirming that IP randomization schedules are received in a timely manner
- Managing and certifying that clear documentation of IP receipt, IP preparation\\dispensation, IP return to the pharmacy, and IP destruction/return to the Sponsor or designee
- Overseeing the storage and archiving of IP study documentation
- Participating in sponsor monitoring visits to represent the EPCU Pharmacy relative to project IP documentation and accountability
- Supporting existing and developing new pharmacy processes to ensure efficient operation of the pharmacy
- Assisting in quality improvement initiatives
- Assuming other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications
Your Skills:- Excellent interpersonal communication
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work creating in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- High School Matric Certificate with relevant work experience
- Active Pharmacy Technician license from California Board of Pharmacy
- Preferred: Working knowledge of sterile compounding
- At least 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
