Park Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is currently for an experience Activities Director for our short-term rehabilitation department.

Overview:
Join our team as an Activities Director at our senior living community. We are seeking a passionate individual to plan and coordinate engaging activities for our residents, promoting social interaction, physical well-being, and mental stimulation.
Duties:
- Develop and implement a diverse activities program tailored to the interests and abilities of residents.
- Organize events, outings, and group activities to enhance residents' quality of life.
- Collaborate with staff members to integrate activities into the overall care plan.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure a positive experience for all.
- Provide support and guidance in addressing aging issues and promoting overall well-being.
- Utilize knowledge of Dementia care, Assisted living, ADLs, caregiving, and home community care in activity planning.
- Plan and execute special events within the community.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in event planning or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents and team members.
- Knowledge of aging issues counseling is a plus.
- Understanding of Long term care settings and the needs of seniors.
- Ability to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all residents.
