Total Filtration Services, a division of Parker Hannifin, is currently seeking a Tactical Buyer. The primary responsibilities of this role will include working closely with the Division Supply Chain Manager to manage the procurement and stocking of filtration products, as well as overseeing inbound freight. The ideal candidate will be an independent worker with a strong ability to work collaboratively within the team to identify areas for improvement in inventory management, cost savings, supplier selection, supplier evaluations, and freight expenses. Continuous improvement and a mindset for efficiency are essential for success in this position. The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for data analysis and expertise in using ERP systems. We are seeking an analytical individual with 3-5 years of experience in purchasing.
* Ensure all tasks are completed in a safe manner, complying with all company safety policies and procedures.* Ensure TFS is using the direct vendor solutions, eliminating non-direct supply chain relationships where possible* Focus on PO accuracy ensuring both Standard Costs and Purchase Prices are maintained in the business system. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with our vendors.* Work with our logistics team to ensure the proper freight method is used.* Responsible for determining centralized stocking locations and managing the transfer of product between branches to meet customer service and vendor purchase requirements* Ensure stocking requests are researched, validated and have proper approvals prior to ordering* Maintain strong relationship and communication with and manage order controls and inventory levels for assigned Distribution centers.* Communicate weekly shipment schedule to assigned branch locations including product quantity and estimated delivery date* Monitor and report on monthly purchasing metrics* Obtain 99% fulfillment rate at assigned branches* Resolve warehouse discrepancies (double shipments, quantity discrepancies, incorrect part number and RGA)* Manage and close out all vendor non-conformances as related to assigned vendors* Ensure processes are documented to comply with TFS standard operating procedures or internal desk manuals* Ensure all required purchasing SOX information is monitored and reported Supervisory Responsibilities:* None

Experience & Educational Requirements:
- 4 Year College Degree Required (Supply Chain Management or Relevant Discipline Preferred)
- C.P.M. Certification a plus
- 3-5 Years of Purchasing experience

- Deadline driven and results oriented
