Job Overview
I am seeking an experienced paralegal to help me in my adoption and assisted reproduction law practice. I am a senior attorney and need help with the drafting of legal documents, and processing each adoption with the clerk's office in the county where filed. the paralegal will perform administrative tasks, such as answering the phone and managing my calender and keeping me scheduled.

- Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related field.
- Current certification as a Certified Paralegal (CP) or Certified Legal Assistant (CLA).
- Strong knowledge of legal research and drafting.
- Experience with legal software, including Clio .
- Excellent phone etiquette and interviewing skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with adoption law a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Certification as a Certified Paralegal (CP) or Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) is an asset.
The job is a 32 hour a week job, and after 90 day probationary period, there are benefits in sick leave and discretionary leave. Holidays are not paid time off but are offered off.
Heart for adoptions is a plus.

Pay: $46,592.00 - $49,000.00 per year
