What are the responsibilities and job description for the MDS Nurse position at Parker Life?
MDS Nurse - Somerset - Per Diem - Shifts as needed - The areas highest quality state-of-the-art nursing care community providing a warm and compassionate environment - The MDS Nurse is responsible for assuring the timely completion and transmission of accurate MDS assessments and the creation of interdisciplinary care plans for those we serve.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Registered Nurse, currently licensed in the State of New Jersey
- BSN, preferred
- Proficiency in MDS 3.0 and Care Plan process.
- Minimum two (2) years of clinical experience in a health care setting. Minimum of one (1) year experience in a long-term care setting responsible for MDS 3.0 completion.
- Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
- Full vaccination including booster (as eligible) required or receive an exemption prior to employment.
