Location: Onsite in Portland, OR - this is a floating role, so candidates must be able to travel to multiple banks in the Downtown Portland area (~10 minutes apart)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform transactions accurately and promptly within established policies and procedures, seeking supervisory assistance when appropriate.
  • Recognize opportunities and make appropriate product and service recommendations or referrals for both consumer and small business clients.
  • Ensure high level of customer satisfaction through the delivery of excellent service.
  • If requested, develop competencies and certifications/registration necessary to assist branch leadership with lending or supervisory duties.
  • Deliver the highest quality client experience through one-on-one engagement with clients.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise to support client questions regarding digital banking, including mobile banking, Money sync, online banking, bill pay, external transfers and P2P.
  • Accurately process pay and receiving items, adhering to established policies for check holds and cash handling and in compliance with established bank policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations.
  • Develop and maintain product and procedural knowledge necessary to contribute to high quality, accurate branch operations.
  • Adhere to branch security procedures at all times.
  • Comply with mandated operational controls, including but not limited to assigned cash limits, check holds, wire transfer documentation and cash box balancing.
  • Maintain proficiency in features and benefits, interest rate/APY/APYe calculations, FDIC Insurance coverage, and the procedures and operational guidelines for all company products.

Successful candidates will have the following education, knowledge, and training:

  • Hold strong values for integrity, teamwork, ownership, simplicity and service. Also… KINDNESS is key!
  • High school diploma or approved equivalent
  • Basic algebra and math skills, 10-key and keyboarding, standard Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word and Outlook, and smart phone and digital channel skills
  • Must be organized and display excellent communication skills and personable attitude.
  • Willingness to work in an open retail environment with shared space and no formal desk
  • Ability to pass a criminal background and soft credit pull check
  • No use of tobacco and/or vaping products required
