Warehouse Manager

Job Overview
As a Warehouse Manager, you will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing, and dispatch of a wide variety of products within a distribution center. You will be responsible for managing the warehouse operations to ensure optimal functioning and customer satisfaction. You will also have the opportunity to support in sales via email and phone. You will also be tasked to build out our warehouse inventory management strategy including choosing a system to build out for products.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff including warehouse supervisors and inventory control personnel
- Implement and maintain efficient warehouse processes to maximize productivity
- Manage inventory control procedures to ensure accurate stock levels
- Oversee inbound and outbound freight to optimize transportation costs
- Utilize continuous improvement strategies to enhance warehouse operations
- Collaborate with supply chain partners to streamline operations
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems
- Monitor warehouse safety protocols and compliance

Experience
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Strong background in operations management within a warehouse setting
- Knowledge of inventory control practices and procedures
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Ability to lead and motivate a team towards operational excellence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
