What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brand Strategy Manager position at Parks, Experiences and Products?
The DPEP Consumer Brand Strategy Manager serves as a partner to content makers and Franchise teams throughout DPEP (Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products) and The Walt Disney Company (TWDC). You will focus on sustaining growth across the franchise portfolio (inclusive of franchises like Marvel, Princess and Star Wars) and expanding a franchise management approach across all our businesses and regions. We want to create an aligned Franchise voice to create measurable value against established goals for DPEP that provides clarity, understanding, consistency, and material growth across the DPEP franchise portfolio.
You will be a member of the DPEP Franchise organization, be based in Orlando, FL, and report to either the Director, DPEP Consumer Franchise Strategy or a Senior Manager, DPEP Consumer Franchise Strategy.
Responsibilities :
- Develop holistic DPEP strategies per specific franchises to identify consumer and commercial opportunities, and "white space" opportunities to extend and create franchises across DPEP.
- Develop new integrated planning processes, and evolve pre-existing processes in partnership with DPEP Franchise team and important partners across DPEP and TWDC.
- Collaborate and project manage deliverables to ensure agreement with important partners.
- Conduct analysis to inform consumer-first, long-term franchise planning that aligns strategies across businesses and optimizes commercial opportunities.
- Build relationships with content partners and Franchise teams across DPEP globally and TWDC.
- Create presentations to combine strategies and calendars for share outs across global DPEP.
- Organize large group meetings of partners and ensure preparation and material development prior and after.
- Promote best practices and knowledge sharing across DPEP globally.
Basic Qualifications :
- 7 or more years experience in marketing or brand management roles with a global mindset.
- Comfortable with interpreting and using large sets of data.
- Experience working with multiple partners to influence and persuade at all levels across an organization.
- Exceptional deck creation and presentation skills to senior executives and large groups.
- Flexible to changing priorities.
- Comfortable working through a matrix structure to achieve the end solution.
Required Education :
- Bachelor of Science or Arts degree with a major in consumer marketing, business, or similar field
