Parkside is looking for a Facilities/Maintenance Technician! This position will:
- Perform preventative maintenance on generator and other preventative maintenance of equipment.
- Assist in the operation of boilers, chillers, air handling units and other apparatus as qualified.
- Complete painting and carpentry duties.
- Complete periodic safety inspections of all buildings and grounds as assigned.
- Assist with testing of the Fire Alarm Systems.
- Maintain parking areas, sidewalks and exterior of all buildings as assigned.
- Moves furniture and equipment as assigned.
- Make entries into appropriate logs as instructed on a timely basis.
- Follow agency policies and procedures.
- Provide a safe environment for clients and staff, including being aware of and documenting unusual incidents.
- Complete work orders in a timely fashion.
- Other duties as assigned.
Maintenance Technician
- Technical training preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Building maintenance experience helpful, but not required.
