Duties and Responsibilities:

Preparation and disclosure of the CD in compliance with TRID, RESPA, QM and investor guidelines

• Work with both internal team members and external 3^rd parties to balance and evaluate fees
• Produce final closing documents and ensure data integrity by auditing loan docs prior to release
• Perform a complete review and audit of the loan file including both legal and financial documentation
• Review all information in the title commitment, purchase contract, appraisal, homeowners policy, tax certs, payoff demands, settlement statements, escrow Instructions, closing protection letter, verification of employment, secondary loan lock, mortgage insurance certificate, FHA case assignment, VA certificate of eligibility, Grant Deed, seller CD and verification of final funds
• Follow up with various departments to address any outstanding conditions
• Verify the integrity of all information provided and ensure that all PTF conditions are satisfied prior to funding
• Responsible for preparing and verifying final figures
• Reviews and manages CD, Docs and Funding pipeline to ensure turn times are being met
• Maintain a high level of customer service with quick response times and effectively communicate status and expectations both internally and externally
• Understand and adhere to all existing changes to guidelines, processes and procedures as soon as they are implemented
• Performs other duties as assigned, including assisting other team members and management as needed

Qualifications and Required Skills:

• 2+ years of previous funding experience
• Previous experience in doc drawing is a plus but is not required.
• Must be very detail oriented, organized and able to meet deadlines
• An ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is essential in this role
• Must be able to clearly articulate ideas both verbally and in writing
• Exemplary interpersonal skills and a high degree of customer focus are critical for this position
• Self motivation, initiative and an ability to work effectively with little supervision
• Due to the nature of this position, overtime is required to meet deadlines
