Summary: Responsible for assisting, with no or limited supervision, in the installation, maintenance, and support of network communications both hardware and software, including LAN/WAN/WLAN and/or Voice systems to ensure maximum network communication performance. Works on technical problems where data needs to be collected, analyzes the problem, resolves the issue or determines if the problem needs to be escalated. Also acts as a higher knowledge level resource for application developers. Works to continue to be technologically relevant and up-to-date thru network education. Follows Parkview’s practices and procedures to analyze and resolve complex problems. Identifies root cause of an outage and develops a corrective action plan to resolve problems. Follows the project management life cycle methodology to implement medium/large data or voice network communication projects.
Education: Minimum requirement of an Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Licensure/Certification: CCNA (Data), CCENT (Voice), CompTIA Network or equivalent a plus.
Experience: Two years experience in a comparable position. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, MS project software. Must be able to work in a team environment and be a team player.
